David Roden

David has 30 years' experience in equity markets.

He joined de Zoete and Bevan in 1980 in convertible bond, option and risk arbitrage sales.

David was Global Head of Equity Derivatives at BZW, which included responsibility for proprietary trading, from 1990 to 1997.

In 1990 to 1991 he was Chairman of the committee responsible for the merger of LIFFE and the London Traded Options Market.

David has a degree in Mathematics from Wadham College, Oxford.

Christie Main Groves

Prior to joining European Research, Christie spent several years in technical sales and marketing.

She joined US conglomerate Eaton Corporation in 1997 and Japanese conglomerate Omron Corporation in 2001.

Christie has an MBA from HEC Paris and a BS in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO in the United States.

Parthipan Paramsothynathan

Parthipan has several years of experience in the finance and accounting field.

He started his career as an auditor at KPMG Ford Rhodes Thornton & Co and then worked at Amba Research as an equity analyst for three years, providing customised research for hedge funds, before joining European Research in May 2007.

Parthipan is a member of ACCA and a passed finalist of CIMA and CFA.

Michael Parker

Michael has over ten years' experience in investment banking across a variety of industries and geographies.

He previously worked in the M&A advisory teams of HSBC, Robertson Stephens / Bank of America and PwC.

Michael also has experience within Corporate Development at Foster's Group Ltd where he conducted M&A projects across Europe and the US.

Michael is a graduate of both Warwick Business School and the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Grenoble. He speaks English and French.

Ken Poole

Ken has experience in credit research and public finance structuring and advisory.

He has previously been a researcher at the London Business School, focusing on secured credit, CDS pricing, and capital structure analysis.

Prior to this, he was an Attorney in California where he worked in Public Finance analyzing municipal bond issuances, and represented as well as advised public-sector clients.

Ken has a MSc. in Finance with a Quantitative Finance Concentration from the London Business School, a J.D. from Cornell University Law School, and a B.A. in Global and International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara

Krisztian Szentessy

Krisztian has several years of experience in economics and finance in Europe and in the United States.

He worked as an assistant professor at the Budapest University of Economics and as an associate at Citigroup Budapest, Corporate Finance.

Krisztian joined Independent Global Research in 2007 and has focussed on US event driven research. During this time he has worked for an extended period in New York.

Krisztian has an MSc in Economics from University College London and an Masters in Finance from the London Business School.

Krisztian speaks Hungarian, Spanish and English.
